Question 7 If x tan 60° cos 60° = sin60° cot 60° , then x = (a) cos30° (b) tan30° (c) sin30° (d) cot30° Given x tan 60° cos 60° = sin60° cot 60° x tan 60° cos 60° = sin60° × 1/tan⁡〖60° 〗 Putting values 𝒙 × √𝟑 ×𝟏/𝟐=√𝟑/𝟐 ×𝟏/√𝟑 𝑥 × √3/2=1/2 𝑥 =1/2× 2/√3 𝒙 =𝟏/√𝟑 So, the correct answer is (b) Now, in our options (a) cos 30° = √𝟑/𝟐 (b) tan 30° = 𝟏/√𝟑 (c) sin 30° = 𝟏/𝟐 (d) cot 30° =√𝟑 Since 𝒙 =𝟏/√𝟑 matches with option (b) So, the correct answer is (b)
