What do you understand by the term migration?

 

Answer

Some birds and animals do not stay in one place throughout the year

They move from unfavorable climate to favorable climate

Example

Migratory birds from Russia come to India during winters to lay eggs

This is because their natural habitat in Russia becomes very cold during winters

So they move to a less cold place, like India
