A ruler or a scale looks like this

In a scale, there are

  • Markings of 0 to 15 of 1 cm each
  • Between 0 to 1 cm, we have 10 markings of 1 mm each

Ruler - Part 2

 

1 cm = 10 mm

∴  1/10 cm = 1mm

1 mm = 1/10 cm

1 mm = 0.1 cm
