Misc 1 Solve the inequality 2 ≤ 3x – 4 ≤ 5 2 ≤ 3x – 4 ≤ 5 Adding 4 both sides (Eliminating 4) 2 + 4 ≤ 3x – 4 + 4 ≤ 5 + 4 6 ≤ 3x ≤ 9 Dividing 3 all sides (Eliminating 3) 6/3 ≤ 3𝑥/3 ≤ 9/3 2 ≤ 𝒙 ≤ 3 Thus, x is a real number which is less than or equal to 2 and greater than or equal to 3 ∴ x ∈ [2, 3] is the solution
