  • From the graph, the velocity is 10 m s⁻¹ at t = 0 s and 30 m s⁻¹ at t = 8 s.
  • Acceleration, a = (v − u) / t = (30 − 10) / 8 = 2.5 m s⁻²
  • Force, F = ma = 10 kg × 2.5 m s⁻² = 25 N
  • Answer: 25 N, acting in the direction of motion.
