Question 1 - Think & Reflect (Page 176) Can you think of any other kinds of sequences? List out five different types of sequences and discuss their properties with your friends. Here are five different types to bring to your discussion Even Numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, ... (Property Increases by adding 2, always divisible by 2) Powers of 2 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, ... (Property Each term is multiplied by 2 to get the next term) Fibonacci Sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, ... (Property You add the two previous terms together to get the next term. e.g., 5 + 8 = 13) Decreasing Negative Sequence -5, -10, -15, -20, ... (Property Subtract 5 each time to get the next term) Decimal Division Sequence 1, 0.1, 0.01, 0.001, ... (Property Each term is divided by 10 to get the next term)
