Square Numbers and Odd Numbers Square numbers are 1, 4, 9, 16, 25,... Basically, they are numbers 1² , 2² , 3² , 4² , 5², … We can also add Odd numbers to get square numbers Like 1 = 1 1 + 3 = 4 1 + 3 + 5 = 9 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 16 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 9 = 25 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 9 + 11 = 36
