Even if the student uses 0 GB of data (x = 0), the bill would be y = 20(0) + 150, which is ₹150. It's the starting cost. 20 (the a value): This is the cost per GB. For every additional GB of data the student uses, the bill goes up by exactly ₹20. It represents the rate of change.
