Question 2 - Figure it out (Page 162-164) Find the areas of the following parallelograms:Let’s do this one by one Figure (i)Now, Base = b = 7 cm Height = h = 4 cm Putting in Formula Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height = 7 × 4 = 28 cm2 Figure (ii)Now, Base = b = 5 cm Height = h = 3 cm Putting in Formula Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height = 5 × 3 = 15 cm2 Figure (iii)Now, Base = b = 5 cm Height = h = 4.8 cm Putting in Formula Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height = 5 × 4.8 = 5 × 48/10 = 24 cm2 Figure (iv)Now, Base = b = 2 cm Height = h = 4.4 cm Putting in Formula Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height = 2 × 4.4 = 2 × 44/10 = 88/10 = 8.8 cm2
