Question 8 3 litres of watermelon juice is shared among 8 friends equally. How much watermelon juice will each get? Express the quantity of juice in millilitres.Since we want our answer in mililiters We convert our given values into mililiters first Since 1 L = 1000 mL Total watermelon juice = 3 L = 3 × 1000 mL = 3000 mL Now, Watermelon juice each friend will get = (𝑇𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑤𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑚𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑛 𝑗𝑢𝑖𝑐𝑒)/(𝑁𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑠) = 𝟑𝟎𝟎𝟎/𝟖 Dividing fraction by 2 = 1500/4 Dividing fraction by 2 = 750/2 Dividing fraction by 2 = 375 mL Thus, each friend will get 375 mL of Watermelon Juice
