Question 1 - Page 76 Now, what if the ribbon was shared between four friends instead of 2? Given Total length = 29 m And, we need to share it amongst 4 people Thus, Length of ribbon each will get = (๐‘‡๐‘œ๐‘ก๐‘Ž๐‘™ ๐‘™๐‘’๐‘›๐‘”๐‘กโ„Ž)/(๐‘๐‘ข๐‘š๐‘๐‘’๐‘Ÿ ๐‘œ๐‘“ ๐‘๐‘’๐‘œ๐‘๐‘™๐‘’) = ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—/๐Ÿ’ m Now, to divide this, we make denominator 10, 100, 1000โ€ฆ So, we to solve this, we multiply and divide by 25 (as 4 ร— 25 = 100) 29/4=๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—/๐Ÿ’ ร—๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“/๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“ =(29 ร— 25)/(2 ร— 25) =(29 ร— 25)/100 = 29 ร— 25 ร— ๐Ÿ/๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ = 725 ร— 1/100 = 7.25 m Thus, each person will get 7.25 m of ribbon
