Question 5 If PAIR and RODS are two rectangles, find ∠IOD.Since both PAIR and RODS are rectangles Thus, ∠ I = 90° ∠ O = 90° Let’s label them in the figure We divide ∠ O into ∠ ROI and ∠ IOD In ∆ OIR By angle sum property ∠ ORI + ∠ I + ∠ ROI = 180° 30° + 90° + ∠ ROI = 180° 120° + ∠ ROI = 180° ∠ ROI = 180° – 120° ∠ ROI = 60° Now, ∠ O = 90° ∠ ROI + ∠ IOD = 90° 60° + ∠ IOD = 90° ∠ IOD = 90° – 60° ∠ IOD = 30°
