The landmark numbers of a base-n number system are the powers of n starting from n0 = 1, n, n2, n3,...Base-7 Landmark Numbers We find these by multiplying by 7 each step, starting at 1. 70 = 1 71 = 7 73 = 49 74 = 49 × 7 = 343 75 = 343 × 7 = 2401 General Rule The landmark numbers of a base-n system are the powers of n, starting from n0 Sequence is: 1, n1, n2, n3, n4, n5, n6, ….
