Question 2 - Figure it out (Page 63) Is there a number that cannot be represented in our base-5 system above? Why or why not?No, there is no number that cannot be represented. Why? Because we have a symbol for 1 (the Triangle). Even if we didn't have the bigger symbols, we could theoretically write any number just by drawing enough Triangles. As long as the system allows you to add 1, and has landmark numbers that go on forever (powers of 5), you can write any whole number.
