Construction of the Altitudes of a TriangleLet’s take any Triangle Let’s draw Altitude from point A i.e. we draw AD To draw AD, we need to set-squares and ruler Steps of construction 1. We align Ruler to our base BC 2. We put our set-square on top of our ruler – aligning its edges 3. We slide our set-square over the ruler till the vertical edge of the set square touches the vertex A 4. From point A, we draw the line over the vertical edge of our set-square till it reaches BC. We mark 90° and point D as point touching altitude from and BC Thus, AD is our required altitude
