Question (d) - Page 150 Construct triangles having the following sidelengths (all the units are in cm): (d) 4, 6, 8 First we draw a rough sketch Let’s try to draw it now Steps of construction 1. Draw a line segment AB of length 4 cm 2. Since AC = 6 cm. Taking 6 cm as radius, and A as center, we draw a full circle lightly 3. Since BC = 8 cm. Taking 8 cm as radius, and B as center, we draw a full circle lightly Now, where these two circles intersect is our point C 5. Join AC and BC and label the sides Thus, Δ ABC is the required triangle
