Question 4 - Figure it out (Page 264) Which other grids can be filled in multiple ways? What could be the reason?Here we are talking about Grids in Question 2 The grids that can be filled in multiple ways are first grid (border sum +4) last grid (border sum -4). The reason is that in these specific puzzles, there are more empty squares (unknowns) than there are rules (equations) constraining them. When you have more variables than rules, there isn't one single answer, which allows for multiple correct solutions. The middle grid (border sum -2) had just enough information given to lock it into a single, unique solution.
