Question 1 - Page 178 If the tortoise walks faster and it can cover 2/5 km in 1 hour, how far will it walk in 3/4 of an hour? Distance covered in 1 hour = 2/5 km Now, Distance covered in 3/4 of an hour = 𝟐/𝟓 ×𝟑/𝟒 = (2 × 3)/(5 × 4) = 𝟑/(𝟓 × 𝟐) = 𝟑/𝟏𝟎 km
