Question 9 Fill a table such that the cell having the second largest number is not a supercell but the second smallest number is a supercell. Is it possible? To do this, we follow these steps To do this, we choose 9 numbers (making 9 number table) Let’s say numbers : 1000 , 2000 , 3000 , 4000 , 5000 , 6000 , 7000 , 8000 , 9000 Now, we make second largest number (8000) as corner number And put largest number (9000) next to it Thus, 8000 is not super cell Similarly, we put second smallest number (2000) as other corner And put smallest number (1000) next to it Thus, 2000 will be a super cell Rest inside numbers can be arranged in any manner Let’s try this Thus, Yes , it is possible to fill out table such that the cell having the second largest number is not a supercell but the second smallest number is a supercell.
