Question 2 - Page 64 Write the large numbers in decimal form and in terms of place value, and read the number : (a) 234 hundredths, (b) 105 tenths 234 hundredths Number = 234 × 1/100 = 234/100 = 2.34 Writing in place value Number in words is Two point three four OR Two units, three tenths and four hundredths (b) 105 tenths Number = 105 × 1/10 = 105/10 = 10.5 Writing in place value We can read the number as Ten point five OR One tens and five tenths
