Write each quantity in decimal form and in terms of place value, and read the number : (c) 4 ones and 6 hundredths Number = 4 × 1 + 6 × 1/100 = 4 + 6/100 = 4.06 Writing in place value Number = 4.06 We can read the number as Four point zero six OR Four units and six hundredths
