Question 1 (a) - Page 63 Make a place value table similar to the one above. Write each quantity in decimal form and in terms of place value, and read the number : (a) 2 ones, 3 tenths and 5 hundredths Number = 2 × 1 + 3 × 1/10 + 5 × 1/100 = 2 + 3/10 + 5/100 = 2.35 Writing in place value Number = 2.35 We can read the number as Two point three five OR Two units, three tenths and five hundredths
