Example 10 Kannan has to pay ₹432 to a shopkeeper using coins of ₹1 and ₹5, and notes of ₹10, ₹20, ₹50 and ₹100. How can he do it? To do it, he has to use biggest note first, then smaller So, he uses 4 notes of ₹100, 0 notes of ₹50, 1 notes of ₹20, 1 notes of ₹10, 0 notes of ₹5, 2 notes of ₹1, So, our expression is 4 × 100 + 0 × 50 + 1 × 20 + 1 × 10 + 0 × 5 + 2 × 1 Or 4 × 100 + 1 × 20 + 1 × 10 + 2 × 1
