  • It is considered one of the most important and advanced civilizations of ancient times.

  • The Indus Valley Civilization covered a large area, including parts of present-day India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.

  • The major cities of the civilization were located in the Indus River Valley and its surrounding regions.

  • Some of the important cities of the Indus Valley Civilization were Harappa, Mohenjo-Daro, Kalibangan, Lothal, and Dholavira.
