Answer:

Good morning, students! We all know what it’s like to be afraid. Fear is our body’s natural response to a perceived threat or danger. But when and if we are able to overcome fear , we will be able to live our lives freely and to the fullest. Fear is something that immobilises us and prevents us from progressing . Just like in the case of William Douglas , we could observe that due to his fear of water he could not lead a normal life and could not go on fun activities like fishing, canoeing, etc. Like William, the peasants of Champaran could not take a stand for their rights due to their fear of Britishers . It was later in life that these characters could overcome fear. To do this, there is a need to devise a plan and work through it. William Douglas did that by not giving up on swimming and the peasants took the first step towards overcoming their fear when they gathered around the courthouse in Motihari . These were difficult steps indeed but to overcome fear one requires determination and persistence . Once we learn to overcome our fears, only then will we be able to make the best out of what is available to us.
