What are Digestive Glands?

 

An organ in the human body which secretes juices or chemicals required for digestion is known as a digestive gland.

 

Example-

  1. Salivary Glands - They secrete Saliva . Present in the Buccal Cavity .
  2. Liver and Pancreas -They secrete digestive juices which help to convert complex substances into simpler ones
