Question 1 Form a differential equation representing the given family of curves by eliminating arbitrary constants ๐ and ๐. ๐ฅ/๐+๐ฆ/๐=1 Here , we eliminate constants by Differentiating both sides w.r.t.x Now, ๐ฅ/๐+๐ฆ/๐=1 Differentiating Both Sides w.r.t. ๐ฅ 1/๐+1/๐.๐๐ฆ/๐๐ฅ=0 1/๐.๐๐ฆ/๐๐ฅ=(โ1)/( ๐) The number of times we differentiate is equal to number of constants ๐ ๐/๐ ๐=(โ๐)/( ๐) Again Differentiating Both Sides w.r.t. ๐ฅ (๐ ^๐ ๐)/(๐ ๐^๐ )=๐ Thus, Differential Equation Is :- ๐^โฒโฒ=๐
