Then the probability that square of this number is less than or equal to 1 is _____________ Numbers are −5, −4, −3, −2, −1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Total Numbers = 11 Now, Square of these numbers are (−5)2, (−4)2, (−3)2, (−2)2, (−1)2, 02, 12, 22, 32, 42, 52 i.e. 25, 16, 9, 4, 1, 0, 1, 4, 9, 16, 25 Total numbers whose square is less than or equal to 1 = 3 ∴ Required Probability = 𝟑/𝟏𝟏
