Let’s take some examples

2 ÷ (-3)/7

= 2 × 7/(-3)

= (-2 × 7)/3

= (-14)/3

–3 ÷ 4 / 3

= –3 × 3/4

= (-9)/4

2/3 ÷ 3

= 2/3 ÷ 3/1

= 2/3 × 1/3

= 2/(3 × 3)

= 2/9

( -3 )/ 11 ÷ –5

= (-3)/11 ÷ (-5)/1

= (-3)/11 × 1/(-5)

= 3/(11 × 5)

= 3/55

8/3 ÷ 2 / 7

= 8/3 × 7/2

= (8 × 7)/(3 × 2)

= (4 × 7)/3

= 28/3

1 / 1 3 ÷ 3 / 2

= 1/13 × 2/3

= 2/(13 × 3)

= 2/39
