Monomial has only one term different

Binomial has only two terms different

Trinomial has three terms different

Let’s take some examples

28π‘₯

It has only one term.

So its Monomial

2π‘₯ − 3

It has two terms

So it is binomial

15π‘₯y − 25y + 18

It has three terms

 so it is trinomial

3π‘₯ + 9x

3π‘₯ + 9π‘₯ = 12π‘₯

So it is only term

∴ It is Monomial

2π‘₯ + 3π‘₯ + 8π‘₯y

2π‘₯ + 3π‘₯ + 8π‘₯y = 5π‘₯ + 8π‘₯y

So it has two terms

∴ It is Binomial

24xy − 25x 3 y

It has two terms

∴ It is binomial.

Now,

We learned that

  Monomial has 1 term

  Binomial has 2 terms

  Trinomial has 3 terms

And

      Polynomial has n terms

So, all monomials, binomial, trinomials are in fact polynomials.

So, all monomials, binomial, trinomials are in fact polynomials.
