Mean when a new term is AddedWhen we add a new term, we get two cases If you add a new value that is greater than the mean, it adds heavy weight to the right side. To balance again, the mean has to shift to the right (it increases). If you add a new value that is smaller than the mean, the mean shifts to the left (it decreases).
