Question 2 - Figure it out (Page 151) Make your own arch designs.Let’s create an arch like this – Multifoil arch Steps of Construction 1. Start with the Support Lines of a Pointed Arch (the V-shape). 2. Divide the support lines into equal sections. We will use these sections to draw small curves called 'Cusps'. 3. Draw semi-circles on each section, bulging inwards. This creates a 'Cusped' or 'Multifoil' Arch, famous in Mughal architecture.
