Question 1 - Figure it out (Page 151) Use support lines in Fig. 6.11 to construct a pointed arch. Make different arches, by changing the radius of the arcs.We follow these steps Draw your "Tent" shape (two lines meeting at the top). Mark the middle of the left line and the middle of the right line. Use your compass to draw the curves "Changing the radius" simply means making the curves deeper (more bubbly) or flatter (straighter). If you use a small radius: The curves will be tight and small. If you use a large radius: The curves will look gentle and almost flat. Our figure looks like
