Question 1 - Figure it out (Page 147) Construct at least 4 different angles in different orientations without taking any measurement. Make a copy of all these angles.We do all 4 angles together Steps of Construction 1. We start with 4 different angles (A) and copy lines (X). Notice they all point in different directions! 2. Place compass at vertex A. Draw an arc cutting both arms 3. Without changing the compass width, place compass at X and draw the same arc, cutting the line at Y. 4. Place the compass point on one intersection (C) and adjust the width so the pencil touches other intersection (B) 5. Place compass at intersection on X (Y). Draw an arc with that same radius to intersect the first arc 6. Join X and point of intersection (Z) Thus, angle X = angle A So, we created a copy of original angle A in all 4 angles
