You can visualise the heights on a dot plot.Let’s consider the data like this 101, 102, 106, 109, 110, 110, 112, 115, 115, 115, 115, 115, 117, 120, 120, 123, 125 Calculate the Mean (Average) Formula: Sum of all heights ÷ Number of students Sum: 106+110+123+⋯+101=𝟏𝟗𝟑𝟎 Count: 17 Mean: 1930÷17≈𝟏𝟏𝟑.𝟓" " cm Find the Median (Middle) Since there are 17 students, the middle number is the 9th one. Counting the ordered list, the 9 th number is 115. Median: 𝟏𝟏𝟓" " 𝐜𝐦 Visualise on a Dot Plot To draw this in your notebook: We mark numbers from 100 to 125 Put a dot above the number for every student
