Answer in kilometres.Let’s convert all distances into kilometers We know that 1000 m = 1 km 1 m = 𝟏/𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 km Now, Distance between Ajay’s school and home = 827 m = 827 × 𝟏/𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 km = 0827/1000 km = 0.827 km Now, given that He walks to school in the morning and then walks back home in the evening, 6 days a week. How much does he walk in a week? Thus, Distance walked in 1 day = 2 × 0.827 km And, Distance walked in 1 week = Distance walked in 6 day = 6 × Distance walked in 1 day = 6 × 2 × 0.827 km = 6 × 2 × 827/1000 km = 6 × 2 × 827 × 𝟏/𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 km = 9924 × 1/1000 km = 9.924 km Thus, Ajay walks 9.924 km a week.
