Carrom Coin IntegersTo learn Addition & Subtraction of Integers in number line, we use the Carrom Coin method Imagine the red line in the pictures is your path. 0 is your Starting Point (Home base). Moving to the Right (→) is Positive (+). Moving to the Left (←) is Negative (-). Let’s do some questions Add 3 & 5 on number line First we move 3 steps to the right from 0 And then , we move 5 steps to the right we reach 8 ∴ 3 + 5 = 8 Subtraction 3 & 5 on number line First we move 3 steps to the right from 0 And then , we move 5 steps to the left we reach −2 ∴ 3 − 5 = −2
