Question 3 (i) Find the remaining angles in the following trapeziums—In a trapezium, the sum of angles on the same side of the transversal (between the parallel lines) is 180° Left side Angle 1 + 135° = 180° Angle 1 = 180° – 135° Angle 1 = 45° Right side Angle 2 + 105° = 180° Angle 2 = 180° – 105° Angle 2 = 75° Our filled in figure would be Question 3 (ii) Find the remaining angles in the following trapeziums—The diagram shows tick marks on the non-parallel sides, indicating it is an isosceles trapezium For an isosceles trapezium Base angles are equal, and angles between parallel lines sum is 180° Now, finding angles Top Right Angle: Equal to the top left, so 100° Bottom Left Angle: Here sum with 100° is 180°. So, 180° – 100° = 80° Bottom Right Angle: Equal to the bottom left, so 80°
