Question 1 Find all the sides and the angles of the quadrilateral obtained by joining two equilateral triangles with sides 4 cm.Let’s consider two equilateral triangles of side 4 cm Joining any two sides of the triangles, we get We notice that the quadrilateral has All sides equal Angles not equal to 90° Both diagonals seem different sizes Thus, the quadrilateral is a Rhombus Sides of Rhombus Sides of Rhombus are 4 cm Angles of Rhombus The two opposite angles at the vertices where the triangles join are composed of two 60° angles. So, these angles are 60° + 60° = 120° The other two opposite angles are the original vertices of the equilateral triangles, so they are 60°
