Question 2 - Page 68 What would be a simple rule to multiply a number with ⋂ ?The simple rule is "Shift Up." To multiply any Egyptian number by ⋂, we simply replace every symbol in the number with the next highest landmark symbol Every Stroke (|) becomes an Arch (⋂) Every Arch (⋂) becomes a Spiral ( ) Every Spiral ( ) becomes a Lotus ( ) And so on. This is exactly the same as "adding a zero" to the end of a number in our modern system (e.g., 23 × 10 = 230).
