Question 4 Using the ideas discussed in this section, try refining the number system you might have made earlier.We made an Orb System earlier It’s a Number system which works on Powers of 3 We associate symbols to each power of 3, like Let’s look at it in more detail Original Orb SystemThe RefinementThe "refinement" the book is guiding you toward is the evolution from a "Landmark System" (like Egyptian or your current Orb system, where every power of 10 or 3 has a unique symbol) to a "Positional (Place Value) System" (like the modern Hindu-Arabic system). The key breakthroughs to implement are: Positional Notation: Instead of inventing a new "Orb" for every power (30, 31, 32...), we use positions (slots) to show value. This allows us to count to infinity with just a few symbols. The Concept of Zero: We need a symbol for "nothing" to hold the empty places (a placeholder), which your current system lacks. Let’s updated our Elemental Orb Numerals to include this "Evolution." Refined Orb System
