Question 2 (b) Find the angle represented by a. Taking red lines as parallel, and blue line as transversal Red angle and 62° are corresponding angles So, Red angle = 62° Now, taking the other two lines parallel Marked lines again in figure Applying linear pair on top red line Green angle + Red angle = 180° Green angle + 62° = 180° Green angle = 180° – 62° Green angle = 118° Taking red lines as parallel, and blue line as transversal Green angle and ∠ a are corresponding angles So, ∠ a = Green angle ∠ a = 118°
