Let’s take the number 14 Ten expressions are 7 + 7 = 14 2 × (5 + 2) = 2 × 7 = 14 28 ÷ 2 = 14 3 × 6 + (–4) = 18 – 4 = 14 20 – 6 = 14 (16 – 9) + (4 + 3) = 7 + 7 = 14 2 × (3 + 4) = 2 × 7 = 14 (2 × 3) + (2 × 4) = 6 + 8 = 14 50 – (9 + 27) = 50 – 36 = 14 100 – (3 × 28 + 2) = 100 – 86 = 14
