Bracket in expressions Remember the expression 30 + 5 × 4 Since it is not clear whether to add or multiply first, We use brackets So, our expression becomes 30 + (5 × 4) Let’s calculate it 30 + (5 × 4) = 30 + 20 = 50 So, total marbles are 50 Now, let’s do some questions where we form expressions with brackets
