Answer by Student

  • People can oppose unjust laws by expressing their disagreement and protesting peacefully and non-violently.

  • An example of such opposition is the Salt Satyagraha of 1930, where Gandhiji and his followers defied the British salt tax by making salt at Dandi.

  • Another example is the anti-liquor movement in Andhra Pradesh, where women protested against the increase in liquor shops and demanded a ban on liquor sale.

  • Both these movements challenged the authority of the government and demanded a change in the laws that were not in the interest of the people.

  • These movements show that people have the right and duty to resist unjust laws and fight for their welfare.
