Chalcolithic age - Teachoo.png

  • The Chalcolithic Age was a time long ago before people had the advanced technology we have today.

  • It was a period between the Stone Age and the Bronze Age when people started to use metals like copper to make tools and weapons.

  •  Around 6,000 years ago, humans started using copper.

  • Both stone and copper were used so this period was known as Chalcolithic or copper stone age.
