India is a diverse country because it has different religions, languages, and cultures .

• Different religions : India is home to people who follow all the major religions of the world , such as Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, and Baha’
  
  
• Different languages : India has 22 official languages and hundreds of other languages and dialects spoken by its people. The official languages are Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
  
  
• Different cultures : India has a diverse and vibrant culture that reflects its long and rich history. India has many forms of art , such as painting, sculpture, architecture, dance, music, theatre and cinema. India also has many forms of literature , such as poetry, prose, drama and epics. India also has many forms of cuisine , and India also has many forms of clothing , such as sarees.
