- Country C: Ruling party has lost in the last three elections.

- Country B : The same party has been winning elections for the last twenty years. This form is called dictatorship.
- Country C: The ruling party has lost in the last three elections. This is a democratic country because to prevent any party from monopolizing power, there must be other parties to compete with.
- Country D : There is no independent election commission. This is an undemocratic country because there is no election commission to hold any ruling party accountable for its action.
