How to make your own magnet?
- Take a rectangular piece of Iron bar
- Place it on a table
- Now take a bar magnet and place one of its pole at one edge
- Without lifting the bar, move it along the length till you reach the other
- Without lifting the bar, move it along the length till you reach the other
- Now lift the magnet and bring it back to the pole where you began
- Move the magnet again along the iron bar from which you began
- Repeat this process for 30 – 40 mins
- Bring some iron filings to check whether it has become a magnet
- If not, continue the process for more time
