Ex 11.1, 1 Find the area of a sector of a circle with radius 6 cm if angle of the sector is 60ยฐ. Given that, Radius = r = 6 cm & Angle of the sector = ฮธ = 60ยฐ We know that, Area of sector of circle = ๐œฝ/(๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”๐ŸŽยฐ) ร— ฯ€r2 = 60/360ร—22/7ร—(6)2 = ๐Ÿ/๐Ÿ”ร—๐Ÿ๐Ÿ/๐Ÿ•ร—๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ” = (6 ร— 22 )/7 = 132/7 cm2
